Clean, friendly and professional tattoo studio, specialising in high colour pieces, and a lot of intricate work. From the various tattoo pieces I have seen, mostly done by Jason, the standard is exceptionally high and the artwork is beautiful. Whether you want a brand new design, old tattoos transformed into new ones, or just something small and simple, this is a great place to go. Prices are not expensive, as tattoos in general in Edinburgh (for a good studio and good artists) cost a minimum of £25 for a small design, and to be honest you get what you pay for so I am more than happy to pay good money to ensure that the work that will be with me forever is really worth it.

About a year ago, my mother in law, told us about a new tattoo studio she had heard off called Red Hot and Blue Tattoo. She passed it every day on the way to work and felt it looked nice.

We decided to go along, Initially so I could get a small tattoo on my back. And then so my husband could get a sleeve tattoo.

My experience of the place is, my tatooist was the most painful tatooist I have ever been to, and this was tattoo number 6! It is a small establishment very tastefully decorated with pictures and folders of tattoos on the table. There were pictures hanging on the walls that you could flick through as well.
The establishment was clean and equipment was opened from sterilised packets in front of us.

The furniture was funky and modern and the tatooists were friendly and pleasant. Displaying their work on their bodies.

My husbands tattoo cost over £400, I have since been told that this was a reasonable price. He went in 3 different sessions. His only downside is that he feels his tattoo is quite patchy.

It is a busy tattooist but you can normally get a space for that week.

The minimum cost of a tattoo here will be £30.
