The 4-star hotel Millenium is located in the heart of luxury-shopping-district Knightsbridge. In close proximity to Harrods and Harvey Nichols. Assuming that all fashionistas know these names.
Gucci, Chanel, Louis Vuitton-lovers will find their ultimate happiness on Sloane Street.
The hotel is easily reached by tube, the Knightsbridge tube station is less than 200m away.
The hotel itself is very British. By this I mean the combination of high price & small rooms.
But the rooms are nicely furnished and not old-fashioned. The view from the 11th floor (where I was lucky enough to have my room) is awesome. You can see the Harrods, Knightsbridge Hotel and the outskirts of Hyde Park).
Pity if two of the three lifts are out of service … then you wait very long until you finally get to your the room.
The breakfast buffet on the first floor is gigantic in size. Continental breakfast is available for 20 GBP, the greater breakfast for GBP 30. The selection of food is very good, lots of fresh fruit, cereals, bread, ... . Anything your heart desires. The big breakfast offers in addition to this warm food.
The Tangerine cafe / bar on the ground floor is a nice hotel bar, offering a few modern European dishes.
