Close to Brighton Station worth a visit

Whilst I am all for protecting our heritage, the Perspex cover totally ruins it.
If somebody wanted to deface it or heaven forbid graffiti onto the graffitti then is a 10mm plastic sleave gonna stop them?
And if it was going to be stolen (as has happened to other Banksy walls) then ditto?
Just out of interest, does anyone know who owns it? Does the owner of the building own the wall?

Canvas graffiti version also available from No Name Restaurant in St. James’s Street.
This Banksy graffiti image is iconic and has been reproduced many times.
It was vandalised, but the Council restored the image and have put up a protective plastic screen. This was then vandalised by being sprayed pink - however the image survives.
One of my favourite Banksy images is Fallen Angel in the city of London - this was removed by the local Council but not before it had been captured and reproduced.
I would welcome the exchange of information with other Qypers

So close to Brighton railway station that’s worth a two-minute detour to have a look, if you’re at all interested in street art.
As Dr02e says, the two kissing coppers was defaced, but is now protected (although still not loved: there’s a bin next door and bicycles are often padlocked across it, and the protective plastic has been hacked at).
The graffiti of George Best and John Peel are worth a look too: in fact, I wonder how long it’ll be before the pub is renamed 'The John Peel’. There’s also a mask of the face of Buddha and a cross on the wall. All very Brighton.

A stone’s throw from Brighton station, this Banksy is located on the side of The Prince Albert Pub, right next to Gergie Best scratching his bum all watched over by John Peel. Ooer.
Like many Banksies it’s a piece that meant to make you stop, stare, digest and laugh. But it seems that someone didn’t see the funny side of this one, as the original was defaced. But, the snogging rozzers were soon to return, albeit with their own protective riot shield. Given Banksy’s current stock, the pub is probably worth double now they’re back
