2 reviews of Brighton Street Market in English
I remember this street market of being more of Trotters independent traders kinda place than it is now. Now it is all cool, retro, and vintage.
The stuff seems to expensive but not too expensive. I can't imagine getting the sort of bargain that is possible at the Marina car boot sale. But it isn't as ridiculously over inflated as Snoopers paradise either.
The street doesn't have that many stalls and it is very popular so come early because by midday you'll just be looking at the stuff that is either to rubbish or too eye-wateringly overpriced for the early birds.
In action on Saturdays from 9am till 5pm, this little street market is one of the better markets in Brighton centre. Located on upper Gardener Street it’s out of the hustle and bustle of the main north laines. With various contrasting stalls from 80s electronic equipment to second hand books there’s a real variety of products on offer. Being a street market it’s cash only so bring a wad and you’re sure to find some small treasure. Chances are it won’t cost too much either.
