Love this place, the owner is so nice and easy-going, he’ll let you have a bbq by the pond if you clean up after yourself and his free range eggs are the best I’ve ever had. The thing I always look forward to most at this farm are the prairie dogs, which will let you pet them if you have enough food! They’re so cute it’s painful. The owner was telling me he had two of these in a hutch and when they escaped he assumed they were done for. Next thing he knew, they had set up and bred all over his farm and become quite an exhibit, which is amazing that they can thrive so well in the Welsh weather! It’s certainly an amazing sight, seeing these little guys popping their heads up and down from burrows they have built naturally in the Welsh countryside! Well worth a see, I’ve taken many friends who’ve all loved the experience too.
I agree this is an amazing place for all the family, remember going there as a child with my grandad and loving it. My mum used to go too, on fishing trips with her Dad.
This is truely beautiful countryside. There is a place where you can get refreshments which is not too pricey, you can also pet some animals such as bay Guinea Pigs, Rabbits,Cattle, Ponies (my favourite) Sheep, and more.
It is very reasonably priced for you to park your car and explore.
Bed and breakfast is available.
For those not staying visit for the day bring a picnic,go fishing, go walking or just relax.

An amazing place for all the family, also for a spot of fishing. Set In a huge area of beautiful countryside. There is a place for petting animals where you can get refreshments at a reasonable price.Tiny Guinea Pigs, Miniature Cattle, Rabbits
Rare Breeds Of Sheep, Ponies, Llamas, Alpacas, Wallabies and more. The price is brilliant and this will enable you to park your car and explore the surrounding area knowing its safe. The farm house will do bed and breakfast,or self catering breaks. There are two cottages wich were once cow sheds which have been converted (don’t worry no cows) they are lovely. a personal little place to go as only two cottages.Tel for these available from beginning of may :01446) 781274. Bed and breakfast is in the 17th century farm house which is very homely. If you are not staying there. Just go to this place and have a great day out, picnic, fishing, relaxing. Enjoy I love it . So close to the hustle and bussle but you would never know. Lovely little run from Cardiff on a Sunday. Or anyday.
