Asda Superstores

I am writing about applying for a job in asda as I am still in school I am only able to work on weekends and a few nights during the week. I am an hardworking student that enjoys to have tasks to keep me busy at all times. Get back to me when possible times. I am currently looking for as many jobs as possible as i need a job very soon.

This is my local superstore. Just a few corrections form earlier reviews. This Asda is not 24 hour (that is the large store at Eastlands, near Manchester City's Ground) and it is next to Harpurhey Market not Conran Street Market.

This store does have a George section, Dvd's, food and drink plus a delicatessen counter. They have recently added a fish counter and the chicken counter is always popular.

They have self service counters and the tills are usually well manned. There is ample parking available and next to a few useful shops such as B&M plus Wilkinsons.

There is also a petrol station attached which seems to have the lowest prices in the area, I always make sure I fill up here before going on a long trip where fuel is more expensive.

This Asda store which is located next to harpurhey Market is a very busy store. Within a good range of shops round its a great place to go and do the weekly shop, near to Rochdale road with a good bus service running up and down. There is a large carpark, one of which has the Asda petrol station near the exit and a MacDonalds. The other is mainly used for the Market and has a Lidl on there too.

The Store has 3 Cash Machines inside the main doors, a Photo Centre and a Chemist. The shop is pretty large with a George Clothing Department, Electrical goods TV’s, DVD’s etc…, they stock a good selction of DVD’s and Music Cd’s, and the usual food, cleaning product, toiletries, freezer department. This store stock a good variety of value products. They have a few Aisles dedicated to household Accessories, and toys. They also have a Kiosk selling lottery and tabacco.

The Store has an instore Bakery and Deli counter.

The store can get quite busy at times and you can wiat at the tills some times, but the staff are pretty friendly.

I absolutely love shopping at Asda, most of all I like their George clothing department, the selection of clothes is brilliant, I always get all my families clothes here as they are so reasonable priced and such good quality, the kids like to look at the dvds while I shop. Also they have some good bargains on food like bogofs etc.
The clothing sales are great they reduce them by more than half price, so you can get some great bargains.
I also like to look at the bedding ranges and I always buy Asda continental quilts as they are so reasonably priced and of excellent quality.
My daughter particularily likes the pizza stall where you can have a choice of topping and in any size and they taste fantastic.
The cooked chickens are ideal for that quick meal, but I am not keen on Asdas cooked meats in fact I never buy any of the cooked meats as I dont like the taste.
We like the idea of a macdonald being in there as the kids can have their dinner while we shop
The Chemist is a must as well becasue the store is open 24 hours you can usually get medication late at night in an emergency.

This is a mahoosive store! It is located next to the conran street market in Harpurhey. This store has a large george section (George is their own brand of clothing) as well as selling a large range of home appliances like TVs, kettles and toasters and also having a large entertainment section selling cds, dvds, and computer games and consoles. They have a bakery onsite which is great because you can get bread that fresh that it is still warm! They also have fresh meat and fish counters which is fantastic! Asdas boast great value for money and this store is an ideal place to come for your monthly “big shop!”. It is also as 24 hour store!!
