Lindner Hotel am Belvedere

Clean, modern hotel. Nice personnel. Rooms spacious (bathroom half integrated into the room). Wla expensive, LAN-connection in the room (also at a charge). At this price this should be inclusive. From the top floors from the side you can see the Park of Belvedere (maybe enquire when booking). The top level (7th) has a small spa area with sauna and steam sauna. Bathrobes/slippers free upon request. Spacious and free safe. Quiet room but terribly nerve-wrecking air con. Breakfast good and copious, pass on the scrambled eggs. Restaurant very good but too expensive for what's offered. A (quite simple) glass of white wine cost 7 EUR.

A lovely Hotel on the outskirts of the city, close to the train station.It is near the belvedere palace, which is handy as this is a beautiful building and its garden’s are stunning, great to sit in for a quite time or to read a book.The breakfast in the hotel is like a banquet, with roll’s preserve’s,meat,salad’s, cheese,fruit cereal’s,not to mention the hot section.The rooms are of a good size with en-suite of course.A 10-15 minute walk to the centre of vienna but a very nice walk, or catch public transport.

We spent a long weekend in Vienna and chose the Lindner. Our choice was dead right. The hotel is located in a way that you can get there by suburban train from the airport without any problems - then about 5 min walk. If you want to go to the centre and/or to the Ring, then there is a tram directly in front of the door to the Ring. When we arrived we got an upgrade into 1st class. I don't know why but it was superb. Rooms clean, spacious and - as we faced the back - very quiet. The service was outstanding. It was also fun to have a last drink in the hotel bar. I can wholeheartedly recommend the hotel.
