I did a photography course at St Martins, which consisted of four Saturdays. It was excellent. The tutors were really into it and I started off not knowing what an aperture was, but left understand it all and being able to take much more interesting pics. It teaches you what to look for when you take a photograph, and I’m hoping that my holiday snaps will be 100 times better now.
The equipment that the uni has is absolutely first rate; brand new apple macs, projectors. A million miles away from my old uni with its rubbish library. If you ever get a chance to do a course here, go for it.
One of the best known design colleges in the world, especially when it comes to fashion.
If you fancy a short course in design, pattern cutting, fashion journalism or any skill you might like to develop. Prices are not very friendly but give you a paper from CSM which everyone in these industries recognises. Tutors are usually professionals from the field and great contacts as well…
