Under the auspices of Brighton-based lenswoman Kirstie Blake, Eclectia features the work of local Brighton & Hove and Sussex photographers. This is a new venture for Kirstie who says that the gallery will also hire space to photographers who are looking for a studio space can’t shell out for the prices of the major commercial studio spaces available in the city.
Among the works on display are Kirstie’s ‘The Pavilion’ (pictured), commissioned by a local insurance company, whose CEO has had it shipped to the United States to remind him of his Brighton home, and the work of David Dixon who captures classic views of Brighton and Hove and digitally manipulates them to produce a water colour effect.

Thank you for focussing attention on this business. I will keep an eye on their future developments. I tried visiting the studio once but arrived too late and the shutters were down!
