Peking Inn

Not the most attractive joint in town and so probably safer to get delivery rather than sit on the metal chairs against a wall in a shabby little room and worry where your food comes from.

It seemed ridiculously cheap to me, until I realised the rice and noodles were separate (no I’m clearly not a regular chinese food scoffer) but prices were still decent. The food itself left a little to be desired I thought - I had the sweet and sour prawn with a portion of dumplings to share and while it wasn’t bad, it certinaly wasn’t memorable. I’m sure there are a few better options around town, but a cheap one if you happen to live next door and you have a broken leg and live alone and don’t have a phone. I hope there is not actually a person like this next door or I’d feel pretty bad.

GREAT food was so yummy. The chef actually put love into making the food. its an open kitchen so you can watch the yummy food being cooked. The portions sizes are very generous and the price is very cheap especially for the area.
The lady that took my food order was so nice, smiley and friendly and i wanted to have some dishes that were cooked in a special way and she said no problem. my fave are the paper wraped spare ribs, the salted chilli prawns are excellent and their special friend rice is beautiful.

i will stick to this takeaway as its hard to find a place to eat that offers value for money but for great food. if you dont belive me try it!

Very cheap take away and delivery Chinese food in St John’s Wood. Mushroom chicken is good, and I like their dumplings too. An option when you don’t want to cook yourself, and they do serve good food.
