Compliment Littleone (30-04-2008) 4

This event highlights the development of graphic novels. If you are an art lover the graphic illustrations are fantastic to study. However if you consider yourself to be a comic book fanatic you will be in your element. The graphic works by local artists are featured in the exhibition. Viewers are encouraged to take part in the overall experience. This includes watching some audiovisual footage, arranging the plot points in existing comic strips or simply admiring the graphic novels behind the glass. Younger viewers are encouraged to make their own illustrations on the paper and crayons provided. It is interesting and encourages appreciation for graphic novels and the like as an art form. There is no admission charge for the exhibition, so if you find yourself interested it is worth a visit- but hurry as it is only available between April and June 2008.
