Thank you for your review. We are sorry that your visit did not meet your expectations. Unfortunately on your appointment day I was ill. Because your appointment was first thing Leanne came into work early to try to contact you but unfortunately we did not have any contact details for you. As for your comment regarding a refund it is Groupon’s policy to refund you for any voucher purchased which was explained to you on the day.

Thank you for your review but I would like to take this opportunity to respond to the comments made.
When we took the deal with living social it was explained that we only offering a basic or high bikini as detailed on our website. We are sorry if the deal was explained incorrectly and this caused confusion.
As to the comment made about the answer machine we do have a voicemail service available for clients to leave messages where we will return calls when we are next open.
We can only appologise that the address was incorrect on google.com but we can not be held liable for any incorrect information on google. Once being notified of this error I contacted them immediately to amend the wrong information. But as explained to you on the day, our website and your voucher explain our correct address along with other search results displayed on google e.g. qype, thisisbristol etc.
When you called to say you were lost we tried to explain in 3 different phone calls where we are located and we also texted you the correct address and postcode so you could put this into your satnav.
When you called to say you no longer wanted your appointment you were not offered another appointment because as explained your voucher would be lost as it clearly states on the voucher that we have a 48 hour cancellation policy on deals. This is because of the popularity of the deals featured and if you cancel within this time we would find it difficult to fill the appointment space at such short notice.
When you did manage to find us I felt that you were actually quite rude and abrupt. I am sorry if you thought that I was not very nice but this was not my intention – I was simply trying to explain and answer the points you were raising. Could I also make clear that there are many reviews on qype and google that praise how friendly myself and the team are. This is why we attract new and keep happy regular clients.

Once again, you are shaking off the feedback that, as a customer, I am providing you with, instead of taking it in and improving your customer service. I can clearly see how other people who have left negative feedback about your company are actually right to do so, as I was not, in the slightlest, rude or Abrupt to you. Needeless to say that I feel really dissappointed, that you can accuse a (not satisfied) customer of something that they have not done.
I walked in your salon, after walking for ages on a broken foot, just to show you (the upper half of) my voucher, where the address was not shown, and my mobile’s screen, as on our phone conversation it felt as if you were calling me a liar, fighting back every point I made. I was perfectly polite and told you I understood your cancellation policy, i then thanked you and you let me walk away without even saying sorry for the confusion on Google, without offering an alternative appointment, or even asking if I was ok, as I was obviously in pain (unfortunately I couldn’t see the happy, friendly person you claim to be).
Regarding the answer machine, if you have one currently, congratulations, it means you have taking in some of my feed back. However, as of last Sunday and Monday (when you were closed) there was none.
The fact that you mention Living Social as the ones to blame for advertising something that is not right about your business, shows once again how you shake critics off and do not learn from your mistakes.

And by the way, you would probably not learn much from good reviews, so it could be a good idea to focus on the (also numerous) negative reviews, instead of Showing off the fact that you have positive ones.

My wife booked a hair and massage appointment with one of the employess. My wife turned up only to be told that there had been a mistake and she didn’t work on the day in question. She had paid in advance and was refused a refund.
I contacted the boss who wasn’t interested, she even got her partner on the phone!
Completely incompetent and not interested in customer service.

Dear Jinsy,
You had purchased a voucher with our self employed stylist Rhain (Sunshine Hair & Beauty). Unfortunately when your wife arrived for her appointment she had been booked in incorrectly. We offered you a full refund according to DealClouds policy or you could rebook for a mutally convienient time. This is then when you became aggressive and abusive to a member of staff. Unfortunately errors do occur (thankfully not very often) but we do not tolerate abuse towards our staff.

It was my first time at Adams + Co. I am very pleased with my hair, i got the desired look that i wanted. The cut was very good and also the highlights were good to.

I visited this salon after buying a deal on Living Social and very impressed with the service I received.
The team are very friendly and its a lovely welcoming atmosphere. I had a lovely conditioning treatment with a massage!
I felt that Rhian listened to what I wanted and that was exactly what I got. I have now rebooked for 6 weeks time for Highlights and Cut.

i bought a Living Social Deal and had my hair cut into layers last week. i didnt think the cut was that bad until i actually got home. after looking at it in the mirror, i felt like my hair had been hacked into. i went to another salon the next day and they were so horrified they wouldnt let me leave looking like it did! she said it was the worst hair cut they had seen in a long time. i had to have quite a lot of my hair cut off (i previously had very long hair) to recify the mistakes.
she had only put layers on the left side and back of my hair and some were a good two inches shorter than the ones in the middle.
the staff were very friendly in there but obviously the girl who did the actual cut needs more training on how to cut layers into hair. she also starightened my hair while it was still quite damp at the back.
i did try and call the salon the next morning but got no reply. the only reason i havent asked for a refund was that i left the salon without complaining (at the time i wasnt fully aware of the bodge job)

My one star is for the hair wash from a very lovely young lady!
I have long straight hair and I asked for a trim, feathered at the bottom and my fringe layered into my face under my chin. The hairdresser didn’t even straighten my parting which I had to point out. When asked for my fringe to be the same either side and layered into my face under my chin she could not do it and had to ask someone else to do it. They blamed me for not being clear about what I wanted!!! I had to point out I am not a hair dresser and have never struggled in the past when asking for this and also had to point out you could see they were VERY different lengths, I had to show them what I meant by showing them I wanted the same length both sides hence one side is not longer than the other. They then blamed the reason it was not the same either side on my hair!! Made me feel really bad for asking it to be the same both sides and were very rude. I bought this off living social, the first time I have used this site and am now requesting a full refund towards getting my hair fixed somewhere else.
I honestly think my hair looked better when I went in than when I came out and was also made to feel really bad about it. Not good!

We remember your visit quite clearly. We are sorry that your visit to Adams & Co did not meet your expectations but I would like to take this opportunity to defend my salon and respond to the comments made:
Rhian (your stylist) did not blame you for not being clear but we just asked you to explain what you wanted. You did say that you did not like your shaping around the front but would not tell us what was wrong – so how could we correct it? After several attempts of trying to understand your complaint you decided to walk out of the salon in an abrupt manner – to the shock of two other customers in the salon.
I would like to assure others that at Adams & Co we have a team who are trained to the highest standards and all our loyal customers would totally disagree with the comments made.
i too had my hair cut at this salon and it was the worst haircut ive ever had.had it cut by laura who was supposed to be manager but clearly didnt have a clue and was very rude.had to go to another salon to have it sorted and they agreed it was awfull.word of warning to potential users AVOID AT ALL COSTS
I visited adams and co last week for the first time after buying their deal on groupon. I am always a bit apprehensive when trying somewhere new but there really was no need.
Amy was really friendly and by the time I was done it felt like i had been going there for years, i think i could've sat there all day chatting!
Really happy with my haircut and highlights and will definitely be going back. Prices are very good aswell.

I visited Adams & Co today and am really impressed by the standard of service I received.
The salon is modern and funky in hot pink and the staff are really welcoming.
Prices are reasonable £22.50 for a cut & finish. I also noticed that they run special promotions on different days of the week.
