I wish to visit this place quiet often because it is not as congested as many other places in London. So you can relish the beauty of this place which just cannot be expressed in few words.

A beautiful bridge to behold, especially at dusk when the light is at its’ best for photography. If you move pretty quickly you can catch the fading light looking East. If you swing round you will capture remaing light, facing West. The Bridge lights become more pronounced as the natural light fades. Fabulous!!

One of , if not my very favourite of the bridges of London – and I love them all . It looks especially beautiful at night when its all light up . Of course this is entirely subjective , but I think Albert Bridge is more romantic than any of the bridges of Venice . If you decide to come and see it do yourself a favour and listen to the Pouges doing Misty Morning Albert Bridge first . The smoky music provides the perfect soundtrack .

I love the advice for marching troops to break step, lest the bridge slip into the river! This bridge is very narrow, but affords a great view of the sunset over the Thames, with neat little rows of canal boats completing the oldy-worldy feeling.

It’s been said before but this bridge is increidble. Whimsical and beautiful, sprinkled with twinkly lights, it comes alive at night. It is just magical and makes me happy to live in London.

I’m not sure how you can review a bridge - it connects two sides of a river, but no bridge has the right to look this pretty and gorgeous by simply having lightbulbs strewn across it. But a gorgeous sight it is, and it should be on every tourist’s list

I agree with the review. it is a wonderful bridge. I believe it says “Marching troops must break step when crossing this bridge” on a sign.
When I was 17, after a lot of beer, I climbed up and tried to walk along the top. I fell in the Thames. The bus wouldn’t let me on dripping wet and I had to walk home. If the tide had been out I would not be writing this :0)))

Now, waterloo bridge is the best bridge in London to look FROM, without a doubt, but Albert bridge is the best to look at once it is dark It is the princess of London bridges and is covered in hundreds of little lights. Don’t try to cross it if you have a large car - there are bollards and you might find a tight squeeze!! But do go and take a look. There is something very “london” about it. Beautiful, romantic.
If I have been away from London, I see Albert Bridge lit up and I know I’m home.
