6:30 I had a dinner with my friend at this place before he had a business appointment at the same place. Our table was one of those too-small-for-4 but large-for-2 kinds that cafes have.

7:00 A nice duck salad + beer = happy.

7:25 When I ordered the dessert and my friend left for his business meeting table. I had every willingness to enjoy my dessert + a cappuccino by myself, well just happily hanging around.

7: 25 :10 (?) Few seconds later the waitress came back to ask me to move to one of those bar table (high n uncomfortable, usually for people who wait to be seated) next to the entrance. I refused. The reason she gave me was there were so many people next to me having drinks and not enough space for them to fit in (they arrived after us). They already invaded my side of table but I did not mind at all.

7:28 Another waiter came to ask me to change the seat. I told him then I would cancel the desert and leave. He continued to argue why I could not move to the bar table. Arrogant!

No way! I have just finished my main course and now because it is crowded they kick me out?

So I asked for the bill. They billed for a cappuccino that I never had on the top of all the fuss. I asked them to re-do the bill.

A duck salad + small beer + hot chocolate + getting kicked out of my table = 20.80 euros

I would say this place is quite nice from its look. But we have to have in mind that when you are 1-2, and happen to seat next to a big group who can not fit in there is a chance that they ask you to leave to a crappy bar table next to the entrance. And you have to deal with their arrogance when you are asked to change TWICE, TWICE!

I would not recommend to anyone this cafe+restaurant for their policy for customers.

Hard to believe that this lovely little cinema has not be reviewed yet (well, it has but not in English). The cinema is hidden inside a rather nice restaurant and the seats are large and very comfortable (see the pics).

The film programme is usually very high grade and mainstream films are blissfully absent. It is just a great place to watch a good movie - buy a few nibbles at the bar, grab a glass of nice wine, take a seat and enjoy the film.

If you are hungry after the film you only need to step out of the cinema and have some good food in the popular restaurant - or just have a drink for that matter but not too many as you need to go down a spiral staircase to reach the loos.

Highly recommended; this must be the nicest cinema in Frankfurt.
