Review of Tailors from 30 November 2012
I dropped in this shop. It was very unpleasant. There was an Indian guy in the store. I wanted to alter my dress. He asked me to change it downstairs and would measure for me. But he measured more than three times and touched me occasionally, and he even asked me to sit on his leg!!!! It was so disgusting!! I felt sick of his smell. You know the smell from Indians... The facilities and environment of the shop looks so unprofessional, and quit messy. The indian guy asked for really high price for alteration! I just left after wasting half an hour measuring from that asshole! Never want to enter that shop again!! The worst experience in England! Highly recommend another tailoring shop near high street kensington run by French.

This small shop provides a clothing repair and alteration service, and also undertakes dry cleaning (off-site).

I entrusted some suit trousers and my venerable Crombie overcoat to be repaired, (with some nervousness, I must admit) and was very pleased with the results. The seamstress was very friendly and chatty, and understood exactly what I wanted.

I’ll go there again.

Red brickies are from the "Red Brick" Unviersities - Birmingham, Leeds, Sheffield, Liverpool and Manchester. Bristol is also usually included although its architecture is predominantly not red brick.
