Great course guys. The training room itself was fine - but the whole building had work going on so wouldn't blame it on the training company. Made some good contacts there and we all passed without a problem. Glad i booked with them after making at least 10 calls. Would highly recommend if you want to learn properly.

Great Training with the trainers and the whole process was brilliant. Booked over the phone and not an answering machine , attended the course with a great trainer rather than someone reading from a slide , got my results as promised within 7 working days , and certificate within a few days after. Great folks !

I did the door supervisor training last month.

The London Bridge venue is practically a derelict building, I was so shocked I even videoed it on my ipad.

The whole course seemed a bit dodgy. We were issued with booklets on the first day and told we could keep them- then the trainer arrived and informed us he would need them all back at the end of the 3rd day. Some class members disputed this and he said the whole class must of misunderstood.

People were enquiring about the First Aid course which could be completed at an additional cost and the trainer gave different responses about price, causing a bit of an uproar in the class for people who had already paid. This all seemed very dodgy to say the least.

I waited nearly a month for my results and heard nothing.

I then received an email which did not even address me by name, stating that Training Circle had been trying to contact me, which I dispute and that I had failed and must rebook with them. I was given no official response, result or feedback.

The whole course I attended has left me with a feeling that I have been ripped off by a dodgy company.

The door supervisor training courses conducted by The Training Circle are very efficient. These have helped many people like me find a foothold in the rapidly increasing industry of door supervisor professionals. My heartiest thanks goes to all those associated with The Training Circle.

I have been working the doors for 5 years now and for attended the Borough cctv training with The Training Circle. It was a straight forward course, good tutors, easy to get to and the free resit was a great seller. I did pass on the first go through!

I took both the door supervisor and CCTV training with the Training Circle and found them superb. It helped tremendously to deal with just one company and they were very professional throughout. I will come back again to attend other security related trainings and definitely recommend them.

I can't give 5 stars either! I wasn't impressed at all with the training. I think I must have had the female trainer too. Nice enough as a person but no way should she be running this course. She didn't have the faintest idea about the security industry. She couldn't draw any personal experience to provide anecdotes to bring the class to life. It was just so boring! She read it from a book probably provided by the awarding body. She was reading off the board too! You can't get away with that! They can't get away with that in my kids primary school! Although they are real teachers!

What are Training Circle thinking of? Are there a shortage of trainers? I'm not sexist in the slightest but she had no credibility. As for the admin side of things, I waited forever for my certificate and all I got is a lame excuse! I didn't pay for lame excuses, I expected I was getting a professionally delivered course. I can't recommend this company.

    Hello AK91, We are sorry that you couldn’t be impressed. All our certificates are dispatched within 48 hours of receipt from the awarding body but we’ll try harder next time.

    Can you please contact us with details of what course you attended as we haven’t got any pending certificates. Infact, as you imply that your certificate has been received now, you can send us your name too and we’ll definitely look into it and improve our service, that is, if we didnt live up to our service in the first instance. Hope to hear soon.

Guys, I have read through the comments here and can’t honestly agree. I attended the Southwark training last month and although the trainer was a woman she had a pretty good idea about the industry. Being ex-military, I won’t say the course taught me anything different but as I understand it, the course content is set by the SIA so the training company isn’t really doing anything differently. Got my result and certificate in 3 weeks so I’d definitely recommend them. Lets see now if i can get a job.

BIG SHAME I CANT GIVE 0/5 STARS!!!

Too ennoyed by them!!!! i done my security course on august 21st it has been over 2 months!!!! no results!

Everytime i call them, i get next week next week, next week, next week, 100% this week,100% next week. ALL THE TIME!

called them over 30 times tried to speak with the manager, the manager is ALWAYS! busy! every single time i tried to call the they are busy or is in a meeting, i have called solicitors and lawyers trying to be reasonable, been 2 months from their stupid 10 days results, they wont give me refund the manager wont talk to me, no one will tell me whats happening with the results, AVOID AT ALL COSTS! YOU WILL BE EXTREMELY ANGRY AND DISSAPOINTED!!!

I’d like to take the opportunity and explain that for the month of July/August 2011, our results got delayed because unfortunately, one of our competitors took the dirty route of sending one of their tutors on our course who subsequently went and raised all sorts of unfounded complaints against us. It took over 8 weeks for the investigation to complete and we were cleared of all charges. The awarding body agreed that the person complaining had malicious intentions to start with and was already qualified even before he came on the course. We regret the delay it caused for all. if you still have any concerns, please contact us and we will ensure that your concern is dealt with. Thank you.

no offence but they had a female trainer and im no sexist, but having worked 10 years old school bouncing, I could tell she had absolutely no clue about the industry. course content was OK not something I didnt know already but the whole course was BORING

    they where the worst company EVER! i think i had the same woman as u, she was TERRIBLE! they have absolutely no clue what they talking about they said 100% success rate 85% of the class failed! absolutely pathetic! i hope they go up in flames!

    Thanks guys but we won’t even try to counter this one. We are proud of the diversity that our company brings to the industry and are quite frankly very proud to have broken the stereotype that the security industry is only for men.

    Re: the results, we can openly challenge this one as not a single course todate has had a pass rate of less than 95% on the first attempt. Having trained over 10,000 people in 2011, we have had only 17 individuals who have not passed on the 2 free resits we offer. That is a pass rate of around 99%.

    It’s not about breaking stereotypes, it’s about providing quality. You won’t counter it because you can’t. Just because she’s female doesn’t mean she knows what she’s talking about. Just because you’re putting a female there doesn’t mean that you’re adding to the industry. You have to be able to do what you’re being paid to do whether you’re male or female. We don’t mind that she’s female. We mind that she hasn’t got the experience to run a good course. By deliberately insinuating that we’re sexist you’re treating our comments and us with contempt. That is so typical of the attitude of Training Circle. That is exactly the arrogance and ignorance that you get when when you phone Training Circle because you don’t have your results and all you get is lame excuses. Not impressed!

    Hello again AK91, Thanks again for providing us with another opportunity for feedback. All our trainers far exceed the required experience and education requirement set by the SIA and the awarding bodies. We’ll continue to leave the thousands successfully trained to be our ambassadors. Having read through the comments again, we can’t see how its appearing as sexist.

    Our customer services people are very nice, courteous and polite. If we ever came across as arrogant or ill informed, we’ll urge that you file a complaint. All calls are recorded and we’ll happily look into it.

    Finally, please please please kindly us your name and the course you attended so we can see why you didnt receive the automated result notification or certtificate on time.

I attended the course of the The Training Circle UK in June and then reffered my brother for the July course. I booked first on the phone and then online at www.thetrainingcircle.co.uk and it was a brilliant course. They were extremely helpful and provided me every little information of the SIA license process. Would highly recommend them
