Louis has something to do with Turnbull’s the butchers in Alnwick and you can tell due to the quality of the steaks they serve, fantastic. Proper home made chips are also on offer which make a real difference - I get sick of going to places and getting pre-cut deep fried oven chips (yes I mean deep fried and not baked in the oven) They do the whole range of steaks from fillet to t-bone and there is also an explantion of each cut which is good. The service was excellent last time we were there.
