The Master Cleaners

These people are careless, lazy and rude. They completely ruined my wax jacket and then refused to take responsibility for it. They used the wrong colour wax and destroyed the buckles and then their “solution” was to completely strip the coat of all its wax and replace the buckles with cheap plastic ones – and I got it back dirtier than when I brought it in! They have no idea what they are doing and have no concept of costumer service. When I asked to speak to the owner, the person I was dealing with lied and gave me false information. When I asked again for the information, they flat-out refused to be co-operative in any way. I am still considering the possibility of suing them.

this is a fantastic little shop, a great find. i needed to get 3 suits cleaned. they were spot on with the finish, they did exactly what it says on the tin.

This tiny shop does all manner of dry-cleaning and repairs. It may be a bit pricey for your regular dry-cleaning (although if you live in Belsize Park or Hampstead, you can probably afford it).

We made a special trip across town because of their reputation for cleaning delicate wedding dresses. My wife’s wedding dress was soft, had a lot of satin, bead features, and was extremely dirty in spots near the bottom where heels had ground in dirt. The Master Cleaners took it for a month, charged something like a hundred quid, but they got it cleaner than my wife believed thought humanly possible (and took perfect care of the garment).

Highly recommended for cleaning of very important and fragile garments, like wedding dresses.
