Mimi is a great Japanese restaurant in the heart of Klagenfurt downtown. The menu covers a huge variety of Japanese (and other Asian) dishes for a good price in a nice atmosphere. The Sushi and Miki is good; I recommend the Avocado Maki or Sushi (I didn’t like some other Maki dishes, as they appeared to be not so fresh). My favorates are however typical Japanese meat or fish dishes (e.g. salmon with teriyaki sauce), and the noodle soups served in a huge bowl. Go upstairs for a much nicer atmosphere and a smoke-free zone. There is even a typical Japanese table in the very back. In the summer, Mimi guest can also enjoy sitting outdoors. The owners are from China; but the chef grew up in Japan.
