We purchased aol in 2001, we wanted broadband for the kids

They took 2 weeks over the installation date and a further 4 weeks before it actually worked, even then it was intermittent at best

In 2002 we cancelled it and went with sky and eventually we had the whole package with them

Not long after that my wife suffered a heart attack, the money for the account was taken from her account and until last week they took £27.99 a month for 9 years

Various things, apart from my wife’s illness , happened in the first few years which lead us to missing these payments being taken

I won’t bore you with the whole story but they have offered me 6 months compensation

They passed me from pillar to post with their new Delhi customer service department and I got nowhere

So I’ve taken them to task

I’ve emailed all the shops and CEOs and began handing leaflets outside their shops in London

I have also ordered a 10 × 8 banner saying talk talk are thieves and will be taking this all over London to televised events and Liverpool away games

I will continue to do this till they pay me back and they did have the option to pay me back but decided not too

I recently visited the centre for a blogcamp event, sponsored by TalkTalk. It took place upstairs, in a big comfy room lined with computers. There was plenty of room for 75 of us, and two big screens for any visuals.

Overall a great meeting place. I didn't get a chance to try the computers downstairs, but it looks like a great place for drop in Internet access.

I visited the Talk Talk Customer Experience Centre for a private event. The staff were welcoming and friendly, the facilities were modern, fresh looking and clean. The hospitality offered to us was extremely good. I cannot fault the service and facilities for private events. The location is great and easy to find.

I am unhappy with the service they keep stopping the service we pay for and when we ring to try and get it sorted they do not rectify the matter they escalate it and the people we discuss it with blame it on to anything rather than rectify the problem. We made a complaint the other day and they promised a call back and they have not bothered and we are still awaiting for a returned call. So my rating is very poor.
