I LOVE Sergio and all his team. Seriously, I love them. I have been in his saloon the week before my graduation ceremony (and the day of the graduation for a blow dry) , I was really in need to change colour and cut as I wanted the best for my graduation. I am always annoying and get quite worried when I have to decide what to do with my hair but Sergio's suggestions were just...PERFECT. got an amazing colour, cut and lovely time. I will come back very soon!

Sergio is a breath of fresh air when it comes to hair cuts and styling. Every woman knows how important a great hair cut is which is what Sergio gives you. The best thing is that he listens to what you want your hair to look like and creates it and more for you, which is the most important thing. I love volume and Sergio has given me an amazing cut which will allow me to achieve my perfect hair at home as well as in his salon. And he gives us girls a very lucky gift, some one you trust with your hair.

Amazing!….This really is a lovely salon…All the staff are so attentive and friendly… Sergio greets you just like an old friend, and remembers your name even tho ive fairly recently found this lovely salon…..What i like most about this salon,,,,is EVERYBODY can blowdry perfectly without straigteners strapped to their hands……Yesterday i had the fiberceutic treatment done here…..the results are simply amazing. and would recommend anybody thinking of having this treatment done to come HERE ….i(ive found some salons offer this treatment but fail to do it properly, the result is it dosent work and you feel ripped off)….well…here its done to the book…and i have to say Christine…you are a fantastic ! and im booking to have this treatment done again……another thing is this…if anybody reading this review is wary of hairdresers and feels nervous just walkling in the door…then THIS is where to come…theres such a good feel, you dont get kept waiting ages, and you come out with great hair…

The service is excellent here and cannot be faulted as staff are genuine and helpful. I was constantly being asked if I needed anymore magazines or drinks, and also enjoyed a small piece of home-made tiramisu, yum! I had Christine as my stylist who did a great job at cutting my hair. She knew exactly how I wanted my layers and fringe cut, and loved the end result. However, my colour wasn't so good with her. I had creative highlights done which turned out to be just a few random highlights through the ends of my hair. Also, the actual colour turned out quite yellow/orange even after the toner. It did not look good! But she kept saying it looked nice, when obviously it didn't. I also felt a bit of pressure from her to buy their products as she kept recommending loads of stuff for my hair, telling me I needed to buy it. It was quite uncomfortable, but I guess its not her fault as its part of her job.

Ok where do I start??? I have been going to a same hairdresser for 5 years (and I am very fussy about every thing I even tell off my boyfriend if his performance was bad in bed. I know exactly what I want.

Yeah I know what you thinking I am a nightmare) I have short hair, I have given up on having low lights on my hair since last year due to constant dissatisfaction. well I was quite happy with my hair dresser because he could nearly deliver what I wanted from my hair but not quite there. But he was the best of all of them since I moved to London and believe you me I have tried a lot of hair dressers. My hair dresser told me on my last visit that he is leaving his job and moving back to his home in France, So I realised that this was it my last trip to this Salon as I tried all the stylist there and was not happy with any other. Even though I was tempted to move to France but I had to be realistic. So I knew my search for a new stylist begins.
I did not quite started my search for a Hair stylist yet as my hair cut was not due.
Well I checked my email this morning and got an email from Wahanda (I have to admit I never bought anything from such sites as I once saw a programme about these site over booking people then you get a date in 3-6 months time) the email was about this deal of microdermabrasion and I just thought lets see what they got in terms of hair cuts etc as I didn't really needed microdermabrasion, so I saw this deal which was £25 for cut/blow dry and keratin treatment and it was in Central London. So I thought I should give the Salon a call to check what kind of dates they have before I book it the owner himself answered the phone so I said to him I am looking to purchase this deal but I wondering what sort of dates they have available they said they could fit me in today. I thought ok great! I booked the appointment with them and then went on the website and bought the voucher. As soon as I bought the voucher I was having second thoughts about the place thinking normally West end hair dressers are quite funky what if they ruin my hair etc. So I called the Salon back and asked them how much is it to upgrade it to the Creative Director but after talking to the Malcolm for a while he put my mind to rest and advise the stylist called Dan is quiet good and the Salon pride themselves in elegance so I thought I will give it a go and be positive about it so I asked Malcolm to book me in for the low lights as well but I will make my decision after consulting the stylist.
So I got there and met Dan who was my stylist for the day, he introduced himself and I told him straight away that look I am not looking for anything funky I like classic and elegant styling, nice and neat cut, My hair are dark been Persian I also told him I want low lights that blends in but nothing shocking Dan immediately understood what I was talking about I felt like a connection with him ( not a strange one a stylist and a client kind of connection) like he understand my hair he understand my personality and he understand my sense of style so when he explain it to me he blew my mind away just because he understood exactly what I wanted, but then I thought ok he understands it whether he can deliver it or not is another thing so I was very sceptical about this.
After 2 and a half hour when he finished the job I was so happy with the results that I had nothing negative to say about it and believe me I can find flaws.
I would definitely recommend it and also advise that Dan is normal stylist there, not senior or creative or director but his work was better than some places creative directors. Don't pay extra when you can have normal stylist for cheaper.

Sergio has been my hairdresser for over 4 years now... he always makes you feel and look as great as you can, and you always leave feeling like you've been pampered.

I trust him with my life (well, my hair, and my make up, and wish I could go every day!).

I've gone through the 'having to deal with those grey hairs' phase, and the glosses I've had, and now the colour I have, really look shiny, and natural (really important for me).

I would highly recommend this salon, and can't imagine going anywhere else!

And the make-up service is great too!

Make you feel so welcome and pampered, expert advice means I could switch off my brain for a few hours, relax in the knowledge that I will come out looking fabulous. Thank you for my wonderful new do!

I have had my hair cut by Sergio since 2008 both here and at his previous salon. You know when you are dealing with a professional when the advice is clearly individual - for you. The cuts have varied over time and I have added in colour and most recently a Brazilian Blow Dry [if you have wavy frizzy hair this is a godsend!].
Each time I have been well treated, looked after by the salon staff and come out with a great hair cut that has received compliments by my family and work colleagues.
It's worth trying out Sergio Giannasso for yourself.
I am surprised by the negative reviews below because I just don't believe them.

Sergio is a genius with hair colour and a fabulous stylist. I don't live in London but it's worth travelling for Sergio's expertise.

I was left feeling stressed and upset after my visit, my has been ruined,
I got the hard sell, and I have not been able to wear my hair down in 2 1/2 months.

I would never trust them again and would not go back there again.

i have been Sergio's customer for over 4 years now. I have to say that he is the most talented stylist I have ever had and that's the truth. I think he is highly skilled for both colour and cut, i've always trusted him with my hair and results were always fantastic. Sergio loves what he does, he has a good intuition for what works and, as i said, he is a very talented person. My husband always goes back to his salon and also my mum does.

I took both my children in for a quick 'tidy up' and they came away looking not just tidy but happy and gleaming. The team made a real fuss of them, their refreshments were delicious and my daughter loved the tiny plait - original and fun. Thanks for a great pit stop.

First time visit to the salon and it was a lovely experience - nice atmosphere, attentive staff, and Sergio is such a pro with a real instinct and flare for both cutting and colour. I feel like a new woman!

A first class salon! Sergio is a gifted and committed stylist, equally skilled at cutting and colouring. There is never any pressure to buy products, and Sergio is always keen to ensure you leave the salon feeling and looking fabulous. All staff are friendly and helpful, and the homemade tiramisu is delicious. A great central location and a great atmosphere. I wouldn't go anywhere else!

I thoroughly recommend without reservation Sergio Giannasso salon - Sergio is an expert in cutting, colouring and styling hair . I feel he always puts the customer first and as well as ensuring that my hair/makeup looks great - his staff are friendly and well trained and can't do enough to make my visit relaxing and enjoyable. Sergio sells the high quality products that I like but I never feel pressured to buy a product - he makes suggestions sometimes to draw my attention to something new perhaps.

Amazing Salon and very friendly and clinical haircuts. The only place I trust with my hair. Not expensive for the cut and considering the quality and it's location.

Handy location, relaxed/friendly but professional vibe, delicious italian treats and lovely people!
Most importantly Sergio (the co-owner) is a seriously good cutter and stylist with a great ability to listen to what you want and improve on it!
