Plus Florence is revolutionising the idea of hostels. I was knocked over by this brand new hostel that I’d heard of through word of mouth - not yet in the guide books.

It is remarkably close to a hotel; free internet, clean rooms with TVs an ensuites, Bar downstairs with restaurant, pool tables, table tennis, swimming pool!! Sauna!!
There’s even a nifty little card system to alleviate any issues with money at the bar and restaurant - just load up some Euros on your card and swipe away - they give you back whatever you have left on there at the end. Pick up their reasonable 3 Euro breakfast to get you set for a useful morning in Florence. This place will hit the books soon so best to book ahead.
