This area in Paris get the main French Libraries where you would find all books needed. I have in mind the Gilbert Library useful for school books, second hand books, and all other topics books.
The Seine is very closed to this place: one Tube station exit is on the bridge.
A nice place as well to have a look on some tourist places nearby. Very central place to meet.
good area, lots going on around here, in terms of bars and eateries.. the fountain isnt a bad place to meet up with friends and even on the sunnier summer days just sit around and drink a few beers…its always bustling and busy round here even late into the evening..(is on the tourist side of things tho)
