Funky, see-and-be-seen restaurant and bar in LA. Be cool in the bar until all hours, or clink and munch amongst the beautiful people pretending to eat. If you’re going to be in LA you might as well like you’re in LA, so be trendy. Not oppressively so, though: even regular people can feel cooler here.

Regular modern American food, but very well-prepared. Typically salads, sandwiches, chicken and fish for lunch; ribs, pork, lamb, tuna for dinner. There are always vegetarian choices, too, like field mushrooms, spinach and ricotta ravioli served with herbs
creamy sauce and Parmesan.

Food at lunch will be about $12, and a main course at dinner time is about $22.
