Coming from London, I was a bit skeptical about how an Indian restaurant in LA might stack up. I needn’t have worried, because Paru’s is excellent.

It’s vegetarian and south Indian. You can get some nice dosa or paratha meals, an assortment of a la carte sides, or full thali dinners. They have juices, lassis, and Indian beers, too. Delicious, and I couldn’t finish it all. Very reasonably priced, too (see the web page for a full menu).

The building isn’t anything special, and is a bit ‘70s cheesy inside. Service is good and friendly.
