The Gordon beach is the trendy beach - not too crowded and has nice beach vollyball courts. Personally, I like Hilton Beach. It’s considered to be the gay Tel Avivi beach, and it’s filled with lots of beautiful people (gays and girls who are not afarid of showing off themselves infront of an indifferent crowd). Both of the beaches have nice - No more, no less - cafes that sell light food, coffee and alcoholic drinks.

I could get all patriotic and describe this beach as one of the finest I’ve been to, but I won’t. Truth be told - I’m not a big fan of the Tel Aviv beach. It’s noisy, loud and dirty during the day, at night, there are muggings. There are some great bars and pubs direct on the boardwalk, but I’m not a fan of this beach itself, despite the periodical happenings (such as open air cinema). I suggest - travel 15 minutes north by car to the cleaner and quieter beaches of Herzlia.
