Rock n Bowl Youth Hostel

It calls itself a motel and makes efforts to seem really funky with the bowling alley downstairs. But it is full of Spanish people looking for work or pretending to learn English. They are noisy and unfriendly. You feel like you are intruding by being there.

A lot of the showers are out of order, the rest are dirty, as is the kitchen. Very shabby rooms. Heard stories of a lot of thieving.

They tell you it can get a bit noisy but not when the music venue downstairs kicks off. Staff and others often up all night shouting and singing. So loud the whole building shakes, all weekend and some week days. Weekends the place is full of drunken groups. Free wifi but often doesn't work. Staff not helpful, don't seem to know anything about the city. 

If you want to get horribly drunk and not sleep then stay here. If not, spend a bit more and get somewhere half decent.
