As a regular London visitor, I am still a firm believer in
a) walking across Hyde Park
b) the tube
c) London busses and, as a last resort,
the official London Taxi.

However, yesterday morning, on trying to get from Paddington to Victoria in a hurry, all three options let me down.

Taxi rank: the wait was mile long
Tube does not really work from Paddington to Victoria.
Bus: waited forever,

So this driver from Adam Cars saved me: While non of the taxis on Bayswater Rd would even consider stopping, he was doing a U turn on Bayswater Road in his neat 530 BMW, charged me a modest 10 Pounds which I would have paid in a licensed taxi as well, and brought me swiftly to my destination.

Here is his phone number, of course I am not sure how many cars they will have. Just forgot his name. Ask for the BMW driver with the french mother. :-)
