This delicious ice cream location of the place is right next to LA City College and in front of an orange bike store. Yeah…a bike store that is in orange. At first I was looking around for an ice cream store, then I realized that the blinds were closed up and that cafe might be the place I was looking for.

The shop looks like a cafe as they do serve coffee and other edible items beside ice cream. There are several tables and chairs that makes it looked like a bohemian chic kind of coffee house. I think that the LA City College students might be the ones that are frequenting for this establishment. If I was drinking coffee and studying, this might be a cool place for a hangout. I could see myself going there to chill out.

It used to be an one man operation and he is one of the most coolest person I have ever met. His name is Tai. The gentleman was very kind and generous in answering whatever questions I have and in generous in letting me have samples of each flavor of ice cream.

There are some very interesting flavors in the cooler. Most interesting one that Tai recommended was the “fig and wasabi”. At first I thought it was going to be spicy, but it’s really sweet and very hot like a peppermint. At first I was going to bury underneath the other scoops, but he recommended to put it on top or towards the top so I can enjoyed the other flavors.

Some of these flavors were sold out and I was there at 4pm on a Saturday afternoon. So it can be sold out before closing. I wound up getting:

- Fig and Wasabi
- Vegan Coffee Toffee
- Green Tea Horchita
- Fourth name escape me, but it has a nice vanilla feel to it

The scoops were generous enough and the price was more than reasonable. You get the half price for the “even numbered” scoops. For instance, it’s $1 for one scoop, second one is half priced. So in essence, it was only $3 for 4 scoops of ice cream (which is the exact price what I paid). Much cheaper than Coldstone.

I was in Ecstasy after tasting each scoops. In all honest truth, I’m lactose intolerant, but yet I wanted ice cream. After tasting the ice cream, not only was I AOK, but I was dying to go back and try out other new flavors.

You may or may not be addicted to that Stinkberry, but you’ll definitely be in ice cream heaven after this and be really addicted. Not only was the gentleman was very kind, the place also makes it a cool place for a hangout.

I’ll definite will try to find a way for a return to this place.
