This B&B is located right in the center of Portaferry. We got here by being referred by another B&B that was already full. Otherwise we would never have noticed it. There is no sign about it at the door or anywhere else - no way to stay here without knowing about it.
It is run by an old lady and very simple/old fashioned but clean. We had a room with it's own bathroom. The room had a queen size double and a single bed. There was a water heater with complimentary tea and coffee, no TV though. Operating the shower was an adventure in itself. It kept going from ice cold to burning hot.
This B&B is comparably cheap, we payed just 42£ for the double room including breakfast.
