A shop and a restaurant in one, you can buy spices, herbs, oil, vinegar, tea, 52 types of wine and port. The owners (a couple) aim to personally give you advice about the food and drinks.
You can book cooking workshops there and a ‘wine and spice’ evening, which we did for a hen (bachelorette) party, it was amazing!
The owner is at your table all night serving you 6 types of wine, she lets you taste and discuss and will tell some history about the wine and area. Her partner will serve you a tasty dish with every wine which is supposed to compliment the wine. The food is simple but superb and exactly enough to fill you up nicely and still have space for their AMAZING cheesecake for dessert!!
They are looking into expanding, since this would be a great place to take your ‘special date’ if they are into their wines and food, but at the moment they only do wine tasting, wine and spice evenings and cooking workshops.
Definitely worth checking out the shop though when you pass by!
