As I read the reviews in english, its really hard to stop questioning myself why I didnt like the 2 scoops of the Ice Cream my better half n I got there.

Lemme start how we landed there...

Frankfurt has been a special city to me, I even lived there awhile ago, but never did I really plan what to do and see, esp. Foodwise... Due to the ultimate reviews in Qype and if Im not mistaken a tip from a great little Frankfurter Fellow, we decided to have a huge long lap to the Hassengasse from the Hotel by the Opera House through the Fressgasse, Stock Exchange & Zeil.

The venue isnt the chic and neat and cozy little place to slender for awhile but rather a litle simple place for a To Go. It was busy as we arrived there but the staffs were friendly and patient.

Since I knew its all organic, ozon friendly, no artificial aromas and colors and so on, I paid a high respect and was quite carefull... I was startving... nearly to death... But stil I ordered one scoop. Well, the size is huge for typical German Ice Cream Parlor tho so I thought a nice treat before Coffee Break!

To my surprise (negatively), I somehow didnt like the ice cream ( I got the Raspberry and Hun got Pineapple Parsley) and tried to force myself to finish it (with an assitance of a little boy). My better half, who actually had stronger will to get some of this pricey ice cream, offered me to barter but I had to reject his generous offer as he found it delicious and very happy with what he got.

Its really hard to be direct and bold, but the fact is, I couldnt enjoy my expensive ice cream at all (I could eat it, but it took me an ages to finish it). If you visit their website and read their Campaign you would deliberately say to yourself: lets go. Get us this very Ice Cream. DasEis, it is!

You think I should try the yoghurt variation?

The best icecream in Frankfurt. Look no further.. Miss the waffle cone though..

Wow the ice cream here is so delicious. They have unique and wonderfully tasting flavors made with organic/bio ingredients!

OK I know BIO usually means yuck!
Well I was pleasantly surprised in fact it tasted so dam good I had to have seconds and thirds. My favourite was the chocolate Chile (UM yummy!) Green tea (OH yeah!) and mango (zing, fruity!).
The interior is clean with minimalistic furnishing but comfortable. When I was there they played some pretty cool lounge music and had some interesting visuals going on behind the bar, The staff were very friendly and informative. Eh I never nue it took soo much ta make abit av ice cream :>

For the experimental customer this place is a must. It has a lot to offer, like weird flavoured ice creams, ice burgers, tantalising soup concoctions and if that’s not enough they even put a dollop of ice cream in your soup. :>
The price was OK for what you get…

TO ALL THE CHEAPSKATES. Try making it yourself and find out how much it really costs..

So Guys and Girls if your in Frankfurt you should defiantly check this place out or you might just missing out.

Good quality, grainy, milky ice cream.. the soft stuff is just too soft for me, go for the hard stuff in the displays. A little expensive, but this quality is worth paying for, having said that, they should serve LARGER portions, it would keep everyone coming back for more and no one would leave hungry.
