We went to the wrong “Rennes” at first but eventually found it. The whole area is littered with castles (Cathar). The roads around this area are pretty narrow, and not for the faint hearted!! It’s a long twisty road up to Rennes, (beware the tourist coaches coming the other way) but it’s worth the effort if only for the view.
