We had a particularly tricky job involving lifting part of the Juncker oak floor in the "wet" part of our Oxford kitchen and replacing it with Karndean while renovating the rest of the oak floor in the "dining" part of the kitchen and achieving a good intersection between the two. Two other flooring firms had regarded the job as too difficult.  Alan Bell did an excellent job for us in August 2012 and took great care to ensure that the finish and levels in both areas were just right.  He came when he said he would and even reduced his quote when he realised he would not have to make so many visits. We are very pleased with the end result.

We are a flooring retailer and have employed Alan for the last two years for many installations. His work is always of the highest standard and we have enjoyed many compliments from satisfied clients. He is professional, punctual and precise. He has a depth of knowlledge in all areas of wood flooring and communiates clearly. Alan would be at the top of my list of recommendations for anyone considering a new wood floor or refurbishment of an existing one. 10/10.

Alan Bell fitted a floor in my kitchen in 2003, and did a terrific job. In 2008, we used him again on a bigger project that included uneven surfaces, stairs and different levels. His work was first class and his service at the time and afterwards was exemplary. We shall use Alan again without hesitation to fit a floor in our local villlage hall.

I have been extremely impressed by the professionalism demonstrated in renovating my wooden floor.  The company was recommended to me by a friend, and although i wasn't in their normal catchment area, Mr Bell visited my home and gave me an honest evaluation of what could be improved and the options available.  The floor was in a terrible state and as result of the diligence and professionalism from Mr Bell, the floor repairs and subsequent finish are far beyond my expectations.

I would thoroughly recommend this company.

In July 2012, Alan Bell laid a new oak parquet floor in my property in Gerrards Cross.  I am extremely pleased with the end result which looks fantastic.

Alan is very knowledgeable and a true craftsman, I would strongly recommend him to anyone considering work on a wooden floor.

Alan Bell has carried out work for me in various properties over the last 20 years. He has fitted new floors, sourced and fitted reclaimed wood flooring, renovated  stripwood floors and sand & sealed parquet flooring for me.
He is  professional, curteous and very knowledgeable. He is a craftsman of his trade and i would strongly recommend him.

We are mid way through a thorough 3 year renovation of a Georgian property in the Camberley/Guildford area and are using many tradesman. Alan came highly recommended by a local carpet company in the area, and I can safely say that of all the tradesman that we have working on the property Alan is the finest craftsman of them all.

He has restored 4 large areas of severely damaged parquet flooring which we discovered under carpets that had been laid in the 1950s to an incredible level. Not just a sand and seal job, but removal and refitting of major damaged areas from when a central heating system was fitted about 20 years ago, and intricate and detailed inlays of marquetry style tramlines around all the rooms, as well as final finish.

His work has without doubt had the biggest impact of the entire renovation to date.

100% recommended - always courteous, clear quotes without any surprises, very tidy and professional. A true 'old school' craftsman. Amazing.

My floor is now completely ruined and Mr Bell did not want to fix the problem and was extremely rude too. I would never recommend them.
