The Penistone line partnership is the railway development company for the line. This pub crawl is set in South Pennines. The line passes through the areas for the BBC tv series ” The last of the summer wine.”
Four viaducts and many tunnells can be experienced on this train journey. This pub crawl has most of the drinking venues by the train station. All have a good selection of Real ales!
Several of the pubs have restaurants with menus for all tastes.
Cheap day returns are available on the lines after 9.30am. For disabled passengers its recommended to call 08456 008 008. Giving 24 hours notice. Honley station is not accessible for wheelchair users.
