Office Angels is good if you’re after temporary office work. If you’re female, you’re very likely to end up as a receptionist, although they do some general admin jobs as well, and you may get more if you’re more specialised. They’re very professional, so registering with them takes quite a while, but they give you advice on your CV, interview you (it’s all very friendly) to find out additional skills and your needs, and they’re good with giving directions to the different places of work and with follow-up support once you’re there. From what I’ve seen, they have a good relationship with the companies they work for, which means there’s often lots of work available, although you will have to chase them sometimes to let them know you’re looking.
