Review of Sangha from 16 September 2009

This little coffee shop sure has big prices for an independent establishment.

The service is great, delivered with a smile.

There is an unfortunate lack of choice when its comes to sandwiches and the panini I had was inedible.

Best coffee house, probably in suffolk.

Lovely little coffee place, great chance find, not too far from the seaside and the most cheerful, welcome we had all day. I enjoyed the fluffy light pecan cupcake while my friend blissfully tucked into a huge slice of chocolate cake. Would definately recommend!

Review of Sangha from 19 November 2008

A great little coffee shop just tucked off one of the roads leading off the high street. This was recently opened and brings a little modernisation to the tea room culture of Felixstowe. Its chocolate, brown walls, selection of books, papers, and comfortable seating gives this cafe a welcoming and friendly feel.

The menu is limited but their simple paninis and their amazing pizza paninis are just what you need for a quick break from shopping.

From the outside it looks small but there is more seating than you’d think and it always has just enough people to give it an atmosphere but not make it crazy.

Its definitely worth a visit especially if you like your Costa’s and Starbucks as this might be in a similar vein but it has that extra personal touch. It also has better prices.

The owner is very friendly and is often in dialogue with the 'old dears’ scouring the charity shops.

If your after a light bite, or just a bit of peace from the hustle and bustle of the high street, pop in, and be pleasantly surprised.

A new coffee shop has opened. What’s so special about that you ask? Well, this is not your usual Starbucks clone. Leanne Ling who owns this corner of tranquility is a strong supporter of fairtrade and the prices won’t stretch your wallet. There is a range of snacks available on top of the usual suspects in the coffee stakes from freshly made sandwiches and panini to sweets that will make your wasteline expand just looking at them.
Although it is small, it is perfectly formed seemingly being able to blend a cosy atmosphere with a surprisingly large number of seats. Despite this, you don’t feel cramped and the only problem would be bringing in a large push chair.
If you ever find yourself in the area, give it a look. I don’t think you will be disappointed.
