I was a bit reluctant because of the price which is 23 EUR for men; my previous hairdresser costed 36 EUR. After having given him a 'second chance' three times I came to the conclusion that he mostly follows his own style, disregarding my 'this time I really need to have it not as short as last time' wishes. Though my old salon featured a massage, aroma's and whatnot, a desirable haircut is of course #1 priority.
The hairdresser at Haarmony was very social and worked quickly. We talked about how I thought it was very important to 1. not have my coup too short and 2. take good care of the contours.
I remember thinking it could be just as much a good thing as a bad thing that she was working pretty quickly, it turned out to be the first. She listened, noticed me having a slim head and worked from there. (The fact that she was quick might also be because my previous friseurs just didn't know when to stop..)
The simple conclusion here is:
- she listened to my wishes;
- she cut my hair accordingly (as said before, some friseurs tend to fail implenting customers wishes);
- she knew how to cut a coup that fits my head;
- she did all of this in a good times and for a very decent price: a true professional.
Very much recommended.

This was hands down the best experience I have ever had in a salon. I called the salon close to closing because a last minute job interview came up and I wanted my hair looking its best before the big day. Even though she was booked and probably ready to head home for the day, Daniela told me to come over. I arrived, was greeted warmly, and didn't have to wait long before I was getting my hair washed. Daniela talked to me before cutting about what I do, who I am, and the different ways I wear my hair. Then, she explained her recommendations -- and even offered tips on shaping my hair differently to elongate my face. The haircut turned out perfect; she worked magic on what was a pretty tragic head of hair. She managed to give me a cut that is professional, but with a little bit of product will allow me to head out for a night at the bar. The whole time we talked, laughed, gave each other language lessons...I felt like I was hanging out with an old friend. Then, to top it all off, Daniela gave me a fantastic head and shoulder massage (complimentary for all new customers) and insisted that I give her a call once I find out about the job. During my time in the chair she talked about customers who have become her friends and I can understand why. Above and beyond being an excellent hairdresser and masseuse, Daniela is just a lovely person who enjoys her work and the people it brings her in contact with. I can't recommend Coiffeur-for-Haarmony enough...so long as I continue living in Germany it will be the only place I go to get my hair cut.
