The Woodlands

Situated just outside Ilfracombe (but only 10 minutes walk in) on the Torrs is The Woodlands B&B. I found it on Tripadvisor originally but booked over the phone with the owners. At only £60/night it was one of the cheaper B&B's there that had parking and Free Wi-fi.
The B&B has eight rooms, so is fairly quiet. We were in a room with a balcony facing the rear looking over the gardens and a copse. Not overlooked it was a beautiful view. Just a shame the weather stopped us sitting outside the whole time!
The room was adequate, small but functional, but with everything in that you could need. It was en-suite with a shower (plenty of hot water all day!) and toilet/sink. It was comfortable without any noisy neighbours.
Breakfast was locally sourced, and I must say the bacon and sausages were wonderful. Served just cooked and tasted great, good start to the day. Choice of fruit, toast, cereals, and juice all available.
If I was going to Ilfracombe again I would book here.
