Nestled away in a little nook off Western Road you’d think that the Brighton Little Theatre might have trouble attracting a decent crowd. In fact it’s quite the contrary. Having staged such popular plays as King Lear, Chicago and Samuel Beckett’s Waiting For Godot it has no problem putting on a proper show. It regularly plays host to various events during Fringe Festival and also runs a well-to-do youth project. It may be small but in true Brighton style it’s charming, quirky and full of character.
This is a great little theatre, and by little I really mean little(the auditorium sits max 75) but that just makes it feel more intimate. They do one Shakespeare a year, usually a comedy, and they take it to Lewes castle towards the end of August and its always quite spectacular. A very pleasant way to spend an evening
