Food poisoning
I must say that I am so very disappointed.
An organic ready meal gave my girlfriend a bout of e-coli poisoning.
I loved this place but am left disgusted both by the illness it created and the follow up given after the complaint was made.
On my initial conversation with the director of the company I was assured a thorough investigation and offered a fruit basket to be sent directly to a very sick person at home.
The investigation did not happen, nor did the fruit basket and subsequent attempts to contact the director have been blocked and ignored.
Two weeks later I contacted the head of the department that the problem meal had come from. To my disgust he had not even been made aware of the situation.
The e-coli ridden food could have been anything from poor temperature management to more serious problems at the source.
It’s an extremely dangerous bacteria and it is utterly unbelievable the follow up that this situation has been given.
The grocery manager, the second contact, shared my disgust and promised a follow up within 24 hours.
This is a week ago.
Certainly does not appear to me like a well run company. From my experience here I can understand why my girlfriend got food poisoning that left her ill for more that a week.

I was very sad when I realised TGI Friday's no longer existed here, actually doing a double take as I walked past to make sure I wasn't seeing things. However I do love a good market, and whilst not outdoors or with little carts and men wearing flat caps and sucking straw it still maintains a market air and charm. There are lots of sections, produce strewn here and there and the days' offers are painted in the windows and chalked up on blackboards.
If you search hard enough amongst the fruit, vegetables, meats, cheeses and alcohol you may even discover prices cheaper than your local supermarket which is a pleasant surprise as this is a pricey place, though quality in the goods sold.
The sellers (I'm not entirely sure what to call them!) in there are lovely and helpful, greeting you with a smile and offering samples to help you make up your mind.
One thing that did disappoint slightly was that the majority of the fresh produce was labelled as from countries abroad, though they have a great selection of British ice creams and cheeses. Obviously we're pretty good with cows...
A delightful addition to Fulham and a recommended stop-off if you are walking past, but not for a special trip, though you never know what you might find in there to take your fancy.

This place is definitely getting better. The Kitchen is producing some fantastic local food, and the new chef is a great addition.
I have started to use the other sections more, and find it well priced for fantastic quality. The meat counter is cheaper than waitose and way better.
I would recommend!!!

a great place if you are looking for organic and farm food, the deli is great and there's loads of products available. eat in is not a very good idea, the premade food is not seasoned and not fresh, is hard to find service in the eat in area if you are getting things from the deli...

A good and welcome addition to Fulham Broadway, this market is a kind of post farmers' market. You can find anything you need here, so you could do all your shopping here instead of the supermarket, but it would be costly.
I recommend to use the offers, and to source specific 'delicatessen' items. It is also good to find good quality meat.
There is an eating area inside, with quite tasty dishes on offer and it is not too pricey. It makes a difference to eat in the typical cafe.
