  Actually, I found that Billy DIDN'T listen because he was so busy talking and after about a year of going to him I stopped. On the last occasion I came out with my hair about an inch shorter on one side than the other - my hair is short and layered anyway but even my husband noticed the different length on each side! Also he never took me at my appointment time - he was always running late - but did apologise. I always enjoyed the beauty salon treatments but unfortunately haven't gone back because of Billy.

  Hello SpencerT, I'm sorry you feel that way. I will say though that should I ever be unhappy with a cut/colour, I'd have no hesitation in asking to get things put right and I know from experience that Billy would be only too happy to oblige. I'm sure if you'd given him the opportunity, he'd gladly have done the same.

  Hi ruth i totally agree he is a fantastic hairstylist, I would be the same and never hesitate to tell him if something wasnt right as I know he would help me in whatever way possible to fix it..
  Would highly recommend both the hair and beauty in this shop :)

  I am so sorry that you did not have an enjoyable experience in our salon & all our team are so disappointed to read this review as it reflects the total opposite of what our salon is about.

  We pride ourselves on our customer care & satisfaction & are renowned for it as all our loyal & regular clients will say so. If you were so unhappy with the service you received, why did you not ask to speak to the manageress, who would have gladly tried to resolve the situation. It seems such a shame that it had to go onto a public forum without us having a chance to defend ourselves.

  Brenda.

  I was so upset when I saw how much had been cut off my hair that I couldnt even speak, that is why I didnt ask to speak to ANYONE, particularly not in a crowded salon in front of other customers and staff.

  My son didnt know what to say when he saw me, he just said "dont worry mum it will grow"...........not really something you want to hear when you have just had your hair done for a special occasion. My hair was almost shoulder length. I brought a photo in which had very little off the length but "cut into" the bulk to make it more like a layered/feather cut...........I came out with it looking like someone had put a bowl on my head and cut round it. Also when I combed it at the back my husband said it wasnt even straight, there were clumps left hanging down.

  You say if I was so unhappy with the service I received why did I not ask to speak to the manageress? With quite a few customers there, and my hair about four inches shorter, was the manageress going to resolve the problem by sticking it back on again? The damage had been done, and the length wasnt going to be put back on again was it?

  You may be "renouned" for your customer care and satisfaction with your regular customers, but my experience as a "one off" which I had hoped would turn into a regular thing, was not very professional, as I obviously wasnt listened to when I explained what I wanted, and showed a photo. If the stylist couldnt cut it in a similar manner or thought it wouldnt suit me then she could have told me that rather than butchering it.

  Since going to your salon I have spoken to other people who have had similar experiences, only they didnt post on a website, they just didnt go back. I personally think it important that no-one else has the same bad experience as I did. My hair is very important to me, as it is to most women, giving them their identity, and the mess that was made of mine I wouldnt want anyone else to have, hence my post. Thanks
