Went to this pub for two reasons. One it wasBrighton & Southdowns CAMRA pub of the year and secondly it was the launch night of the Ale trail.
The pub laid on a free BBQ! Obviously this proved very popular and the weather held out!
This pub has a real village feel. Very friendly people and the bar staff don’t bite either. On this visit it was so packed that the landlord told me they were going through a barrel of Real ale every hour! They have a sizeable garden with those gas heaters that help global warming!
