well i would advise against it to be honest it wasnt great. It was Cheap but certainly not cheerful !

1. Room had clearly only been painted that afternoon.
2. Therefore wet paint fumes - and paint dripping.
3. Plug socket broken exposing wiring.
4. Manager unaccepting that the room was unfit for a paying guest.
5. After extensive complaining - offered room in horrible area of croydon. This after manager took 2 weeks to reply!
6. Going to try and attach photo's but if they don't show you can email me at robert_foster86@hotmail.co.uk and I will happily send the photographs.
I wouldn't even have given my experience 1 star if I could.

Even for this low price the first room we got was much to small - not even the size of a good single room! After we complaint to the landlord, we got a very nice large doobleroom and enjoyed our stay. If you rate a breakfast at McDonald with 4 stars, this Bed-and-Breakfast placel has a "Half Star" for breakfast. The breakfastroom is very small and we decided to have breakfast at our bedroom - lucky we hat at table and three chairs. At the near by supermarket you can buy all the nice goodies for breakfast. The people are very friendly. Most rooms are new decoratet and clean. On two days our room was not locked up after cleaning!!! Easy access to underground station. In the evening we went to the Windmill Pub at the Common, it is only 5 Min. to walk. Would we thay at this Lodge again? .... NO!

Stayed here on Friday night, was a bit short notice and the room was £75 which i think is a bit steep considering what you get. the room was very small, the the building is currently under construction builders paiting and decorating. The place is like a maze.
i dont think i would recommend this place !

The Euro Lodge Clapham is a bit deteriorated but they are refurbishing it at the moment. The price is unbeatable for London purposes and it is very conveniently located near the Northern line.

I booked this lodge as a last min place to stay online. As the price was reasonable for zone 2 in London. From the outside it looks ok but inside it's well worn but comfortable. The room is small but clean, toilet & shower clean & functional.
It has a TV, iron & board, tea/coffee making facility in the room, also a large fan, as I'm on 3rd floor, it's pretty warm.
Continental breakfast is included, that's tea/coffee/orange juice, cereal & toast. Free wifi & PAYG computer in reception.
No bar but a Tesco just up the road to get beer/food if required. It's about 200m from clapham south tube so ideal to get into city on the northern line.
I used it as a base to visit London, cheap, clean & ideal location suited my needs. Would use it again for the same purpose.
