Greek salad far too small to share… Epic fail

Great food and Sunday roasts in this place, loads and loads of staff, but that is because it can get extremely busy in the summer. The beer is kept well. major downside is the price of food and drink is more than some nice pubs around the area.

went here for NYE 2010/11 and it was brilliant. The band were great, prices reasonable, fish and chips yummy, and a gorgeous garden with heaters made it. In the summer this is beer heaven although avoid if you don't like kids running around the garden - but of course they are, it's summer, so put a smile on and get down there!!! a walk down the towpath after a few wouldn't hurt either...

I like this place. The food is delicious, the atmosphere is friendly and the decor is great. The best thing is that when you walk through the door and it's cold outside, you're greeted by warmth and the smell of a real log fire... Beautiful!
Quiz night is a but dodgy... Don't expect a peaceful meal then because the quizmaster likes his pa system LOUD!
Nice big beer garden for the summer and good selection of drinks... Me likes!

When the sun shines, this place goes awal!!
It's just had a refurb and is looking alot better now, they seem to have sorted out the slight problem of service too... At least when you order a round now you get it before closing time!!
Not sure on the food cause i was scared it would be cold by the time it got to me!!

This is the best place when the sun is out. Nothing better than a cold beer, sun and a burger. What dreams are made of. Beer is reasonable priced. Food is good. The only problem with this place is children. there is alot of them. If you do not mind them it is good.

Right on the river with a large garden, The Anglers is a popular pub amongst the young and trendy and families alike. There are regular barbecues in the summer (and on a nice day, it can be difficult to find a space to sit outdoors) and a good children’s play area.
Access is from the front or, if you’re coming by boat, the back, where there is a small mooring spot and shingle beach(ette). The footbridge across the Thames is just next to the garden, and is quite a sight. The pub is also right next door to Teddington Studios.
The inside is very large, and, as seems to be increasingly common, mostly hard surfaces. There is a decent ale selection, as well as lagers, wines and spirits. Service is good (though not remarkable). They do food in the winter, though I’ve not eaten the non barbecue food in some years (we used to go a lot more often than we do now when our daughter was small). The barbecue is truly excellent, with superb burgers and some non-standard fare as well, including, sometimes, venison burgers.
There is a function room upstairs which I have visited but never used - it is of a good size.
This is a good, if impersonal large pub, and a very pleasant place (especially if you have or don’t mind children) to spend a sunny summer’s afternoon.

I went for lunch and it was really nice. The food was a really high standard for the prices.
The Ploughmans was really tasty and had everything possible with it - loads of cheeses, ham, bread, pickles etc.
On the river, so a nice few from the back of the pub.
