strengthofabear: “Came here on New Years Day for Lunch with Ruiz and others, ended up staying till 11pm. Good jukebox. Helpful staff. Nice beer garden. Good location. Food was very average, standard pub stuff at best and not a lot of choice.” more...5 reviews of The King's Arms in English
Another Qype find, we popped in one Saturday evening for a quick pre-sunset tipple. A great atmosphere in here, with people happily chomping away on what looked like tasty food. Great decor and friendly staff, too. But perhaps the telly could have been turned down a bit as no one was watching it.
This is a pretty good pub, came here for a few beers on Thursday night and once I was in there remembered that I'd been there for lunch and beers months ago.
Its friendly and relaxed inside, plays good music, ands there's lots of seats which are well spaced out.
From what I remember, the food's good too - I think I had chicken wings, extra spicy.
A very agreeable little pub with plenty of outdoor seating, but a distinct shortage of real ale on tap! Spitting distance from Tower bridge, friendly staff and excellent food. I wouldn't go so far as to say (like PubLondoner) "this is my favourite pub of all time". But it's certainly very good.
Fix the real ale problem and The King's Arms will be a 5 star pub!
Absolutely amazing pub. Great food, lovely staff, proper quirky decor that works so well without you ever understanding why. I can honestly say that this is my favourite pub in all of London.
This is one of the best pubs in London. They’ve had a substantial refurbishment since the photo was taken and the decor is now a lovely mix of different styles without being overpowering or too trendy. The food is lovely and the service is excellent. This is a real gem of a place, with a decent wine list, a nice selection of the usual draught lagers and you can even play board games! Highly recommended.
