Golden curry is probably my second choice of curry house in Clapham (Maharani wins i’m afraid!).
Excellent curry though, but lacking in atmosphere and the last time we were in here the service was very slow indeed (waited about 25 mins before our drinks arrived!)
I really love the service in this restaurant (I think it has also been refurbished recently, and it is now very relaxed and modern inside). The staff are always incredibly, delightfully courteous and friendly.
The food is lovely, not the best I have ever had, but certainly ranking in the top 5, and is always piping hot when brought to you on one of those trolleys.
Its not too pricey, and doesn’t get excessively busy - makes a lovely night out.
