The Cider Bar is a must stop when your out in newton abbot, from the wide range of Cider’s and wines to the dated decor adds a good effect to the very well known pub stop.

Always friendly staff and fairly quick service, the olde cider bar is highly recommended from a newton abbot local.

If the cider doesn’t get you, the parsnip wine might.

The decor might seem a bit on the spartan side (wooden benches, bare floor) but it works.

The details of the place are a bit hazy to be honest but I remember smiling staff, several different fruit wines, and more varieties of cider than you can shake a Granny Smith at, served from wooden casks behind the bar.

Worth the trip but make sure you have a designated driver.
