As far as we were concerned, Caesars Palace is the ONLY place to stay. It outclasses all the other hotels and the theme of being in roman times is carried through to the smallest detail. We got to our room to find these two doors side by side. I thought it was two rooms next to each other, but no, it was double doors that opened into a fabulous room. Huge, with the bed actually tucked away on the wall, which was let down and made up with a chocolate in the shape of a roman coin on the pillow, whilst we were away chancing our luck. There was a large settee and plenty of storage space. Pity we only stayed the one night. Even the goodies in the bathroom were of a roman theme. The shampoos, bath foam etc were in the shape of roman pillars, and the soaps had vestal virgins or something on them. And huge mirrors all around the room so that you could see yourself from every angle. Downstairs in the casino the waitresses were wearing these short costumes and had their hair piled up in a very roman-like style.
The next day we had breakfast in our room. It was brought to us on a hot trolley, which opened out to be our table, and it was FABULOUS. As I said before, I wished we’d stayed for more than the one night.
There is also a shopping mall called the Forum. Again the roman theme is followed. As you walk through you think you are in a roman street, and the roof is like the sky and it changes as you walk around, from morning into evening. As well as the vast array of shops, there are also the moving statues. At certain times of the day these statues come to life and move around. I still don’t know whether they were dummies or real people, they are so realistic.
I could go on and on, but take my word, even if you don’t manage to stay there, it’s definitely worth a look.

This hotel is lovely - really nice architecture (good photo opportunities!!) and is one of the most popular in Vegas (probably on a parr with the Belagio).
Inside there is the usual casinos etc (not my thing) and shopping mall. There is also a cool Bette Midler/ Cher shop which sells some funky gifts/ souvenirs.
Even if you don’t stay at this hotel - you need to walk into it.
Very popular with the rich and famous and home to many a show. When we went Elton John was playing.

We went into the shopping part of the hotel and could not find a way out! Took us hours! Apart from that a great hotel.

We went into the Collesuem to see Cher and it was amazing! The theatre was quite hard to find, due to lack of signposting but we followed the crowd and got there in the end.
The theatre was one of the best I’ve been in, it’s intimate enough the there isn’t really a bad seat. So it’s not really worth paying big money for the best seats, as you have a good view everywhere. There is a bar in the theater and there are lots of toilets near the exits.
Tags great theatre, not a bad seat in the house

This hotel just didn’t live up to the hype for me. It is huge and really difficult to navigate. The forum shops are nice and worth a visit, but watch out for the timeshare touts as you head towards the back where FAO schwartz and cheesecake factory are.

Huge hotel with a vast amount of shops. This hotel has a great presence and there is loads to do inside. Look out for shows/acts as they have some big names appearing here regularly.

Huge hotel complex, we were staying across the road at The Flamingo in a strip view room so we looked right over Caesars Palace. They host the comedy festival every year and have the “in residence” theatre where Celine Dion played.
The shopping mall is amazing, it has designer brands but also some of the other USA chains (read: not as expensive!). There is a free show inside the shopping mall outside The Cheesecake Factory which is another must-eat place in the USA. The menu is amazing!
This hotel is just huge, they have a lovely outside bar that looks over the strip which is worth a visit.

Without a doubt this is the classiest and the grandest hotel on the strip and is probably one of the most famous hotels in the world.
it holds a huge shopping mall that is unlike anything you have ever seen in your life… its just too amazing to describe.
outside there is a recreation of the trevie fountain (i think its that one anyway) which is absolutley beautiful..
