what kind of butter did you get? Im heading to London in the beginning of march and taking my dad and his sister I think he will love this restaurant. I can only remember the garlic butter but i know there were more options.

The food and service at Steak & Co was fantastic. I loved the fact that you could allow your steak to cook as much or as little as you wanted on the hot stone on which it was served. There was a good selection of sauces on offer to compliment the meal and we were amazed at the prices given the situation of the restaurant. Attentive staff and puddings to die for ensured the evening was a great sucess, I will certainly be heading there again on my next visit to London.

Thought the ribs were to die for and the theatre of the steak cooking on the stone was fantastic. Ambiance and service was excellent and would thoroughly recommend.

what a great restaurant. we were taken to dinner by my uncle and aunt who had eaten here before. their recommendation was brilliant. we ate steaks which cooked to a minimum maybe medium rare and then served on a hot stone. we all cooked our steaks differently the way we liked. if you dont like it too well done you put it on your side plate and put slices back on to cook on the stone with a butter to give it even more taste. we are visiting the UK from Canada for the royal wedding which was amazing. we are going to have one last meal there when we return to London before we leave to return home.p.s. the chocolate with a twist of orange is to die for. real treat especially if you have it with hot chocolate.
pps also try the ribs, my brother polished off his share of the sharing starter platter then ordered a platter for hI'mself. three different flavours and i just cant decide which one i like best. im hungry just thinking about it

I had the opportunity to try a steak on a stone at London's Steak & Co. The meal was to put it bluntly, superb. The size of the steak and the presentation made a massive first impression. The steak came served as medium rare, but the unique thing about this meal is that you have the ability to cook the steak yourself using the hot stone which accompanies it. The taste of the steak was as good as i have ever tasted and even exceeded what i was expecting. The steak came with butter that added to the over all taste and experience of what i will remember as a perfect meal.

Loved this restaurant, the sizzling steaks were the best, with creamy mushroom sauce and garlic butter. I could cook the steak just the way I like it and I could keep it hot all the way through my meal. Absolutely love it and will be going back soon.

I've been to Steak and Co. right before Christmas with my flat mate and we have had such a great dining experience!
We wanted to have a girls catch up and dinner in central London, therefore we chose to be close to Leicester Square, and head to the cinema straight after dinner.
My flat mate has chosen Chicken Alfredo, while I decided to order the new Steak Stone, a special steak that you can cook directly at your table. The staff was very helpful and friendly, and I felt like being Nigella for a night! Cooking my steak was a fun and quirky experience, loads of laughter involved.
Clever idea, they give you a choice of flavoured butter and different sauces to dress your steak up.
Prices absolutely reasonable and excellent choice of wines, venue decor and the central location are a big plus.

Amazing! I was dining at Steak & Co. with my friends from South Africa while the whole South African national rugby team, the Springboks, walked in for dinner! How exciting!! My South African friends couldn't believe their eyes!! The players seemed very hungry, since they were all eating huge steaks. I asked a waiter, and he told me it was a special 20 oz steak cut that they will launch very soon.
My fillet steak was cooked to perfection, and the staff was very friendly and helpful when we asked info about the new steak.
Surely I'll go back to Steak & Co and try this mouthwatering giant steak!!

It was ok but we all felt very expensive for what you got...Also there was no childrens menu....I had Chicken Alfredo which was a breast of chicken(which I have to say was overcooked) with a cream & mushroom sauce + fries price £15.60..A friend had a T-Bone steak which was £18 he said it was ok but wasn't he best piece of steak he'd ever had...As I say expensive for what it was.

visited 7th nov 2010 for a bite to eat sunday lunch time . the service was very good and the steak sandwich with fries for £ 7.50 was fantastic. Total bill for 2 meals ,1 coffee and 1 glass of wine was under £24.00 .Will give it a try for evening meal next time in London
